Transport Package

We are here to make your trip more accessible and fun. All you have to do is to arrive at Padang airport, from there we will organize all the transport until you reach our island.

What does it include?

Transport package

The package price includes all the transfers on the way here and back.

• Airport pickup & drop off.

• Transfer between the hotel and ferry

• Ferry tickets for Mentawai fast

• Boat shuttle between Siberut and Masokut (our island).

Not included:

• Hotel in Padang

• Extra luggage for the Mentawai fast (surfboards, etc.).

• Official Mentawai surf tax of 1,000,000rp (≈ $70).

• Flight tickets

How do I get to the Mentawais?

Flight — Arrive by flight to the airport in Padang Sumatra.
Minangkabau Kabau International Airport (PDG)

Transfer  — One of Kaini's representatives will be greeting you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Padang. 
(We will help you out with recommendations for hotels in the area.)

Hotel  — As there are no flights connected to the ferry schedule, you will need to stay two nights in Padang. (Once upon arrival and once when departing.) 

Ferry  — The following day, Kaini's rep will transfer you to the ferry to bring you to Siberut Island in the Mentawais. The ferry typically takes between 3,5-5h depending on which day you travel.

Speed boat — From there, we will pick you up in one of our private speed boats that will get you straight to our island resort.
